Tell us about your terraform automation tooling before Digger.

We were having (and still) different ways of running terraform runs: terraform cloud, github action and atlantis. We now have only digger and atlantis

Walk us through the experience taking Digger into production.

It was okay but not as streamlined as it could be with Atlantis as Atlantis provide a lot hints out of the box. Digger releases broke some of our runs due to incompatibility (being backward compatible woudl be great in order to support smooth migration. having an intermediate release with deprecation would help migrating. Especially when you have many repos using digger. we could build and intermediate action but maintaining it would be painful

What would you miss the most if you had to stop using Digger?

Having things to run in Github Action without the need of another strong machine as backend. Credentials management is very cool and gives a real autonomy to users. Secrets remain in the same repo where they are used, security leak is not a problem

How was the help when you ran into problems?

You were very supportive and reactive. Slack channel and direct access to creators/contributors is terrific

Describe Digger to a friend in one sentence.

Do you like TACOS? If not, digger will help you to get into it easily
